New laser technology allows for safe noninvasive correction of conditions in the superficial skin. By targeting the difference in light absorption between light and normal skin and undesirable blood vessels or hair follicles the laser beam can treat the conditions that previously more difficult or impossible to correct. Applications:
We offer practical applications of laser technology for permanent hair reduction, facial texture improvement, and treatment of rosacea and vascular problems of the skin. Skin Diagram: Condition - Brown Pigment Spots:
Condition - Telangectasias (spider veins):
The laser can permanently remove small blood vessels (spider veins, dilated capillaries, rosacea) and effect permanent hair reduction. Most conditions require repeated treatments to accomplish the final results, but the sessions should be well tolerated with minimal aftercare. Limitations Laser skin therapy should not be used on people who are using RetinA or Accutane, or on pregnant women. Hair removal is effective on pigmented hair, blonde or gray hairs are not treatable. Treatment is not limited by skin color or age. Sun exposure should be limited after treatment for at least two weeks. |
